My latest painting! I did this as a commission, and I could choose what to paint myself, as long as it was a horse and not just any horse but a painting of Horse! That is the best kind of commission! :) I painted it in Water soluble oils on canvass.
Felicity, I think this painting has to be my favorite of yours! I love the contrast! And the mane :) Mane usually makes or breaks a picture of a horse for me, and I must say you did a fantastic job. That all applies to the ears as well.

Thank you very much! :) It was actually those areas I had most trouble with, it so much harder to paint manes and tails than to draw them!
