My second attempt at painting with pastels turned out to be rather a success which I thought could not be possible while working on it. I had a bit of trouble with the mane but is not prominent enough to be noticeable. I'm finding pastels to be very easy to work with and I love their effects.
Hi Felicity, nice to be following each other. I wish there had been 'blog' when I was 17 and learning pastel! Your Luistano is lovely. Pastels are a wonderful medium to use for animal portraits, with endless effects. All the best for your painting future! Julie
ReplyDeleteWow, that's beautiful! The detail on the nose is fantastic! I wish I could draw like that. :)
